No, I’m not rich. I keep on telling the wife to not think of us as being wealthy. Sure, all of us are relatively wealthy when compared to people living in other parts of the world. But we need to set a frame of reference somewhere and the most useful frame of reference to work in for most practical matters is that of Somerville, Massachusetts. And right now, our net worth is probably lower than 90% of the people reading this, so don’t tell us we’re rich.
Anyways, one of the practical realities of us not being rich has led me to not renew my web hosting service for this upcoming year, which would have cost about $125. Instead, I’m just having my domain name forward to peterskim.wordpress.com. I tried figuring out a way to import all my old posts into this new blog, but wordpress.com’s limit on file uploading foiled my plans. It’s ok; I guess it’s good to get a fresh start.
