I’m a consumer products junkie. I like trying different products to see if I can find something better than what I currently use. I might be perfectly fine with the product I’m currently using but I’m always open to the idea that there’s something better out there.
A few years back, I used to use the Gillette Mach 3 razor but converted to the Schick Quattro, because I found the ergonomics of the razor handle to be better. However, I recently received the Gillette Fusion Power as a Christmas gift. I was a little skeptical of the whole 5 blade thing and the vibrating razor. But I gave it a shot and I actually like it a lot!
I think I’m also going to switch my contact lens solution. I used to use various multi-purpose solutions, but I was just reminded of Clear Care, which is a hydrogen peroxide based solution. I remember using this a few years ago but I don’t know I didn’t decide to stick with it then. Maybe because it’s a little bit more inconvenient.
I also discovered O2 Optix silicone hydrogel contact lenses today. I’m going to try this out the next time I need to re-order contacts. They’re supposed to allow more oxygen intake than the Acuvue Advance lenses.
I should be receiving my Water Pik from amazon.com tomorrow. My dentist recommended that I get one because I have a bridge, which makes it hard to clean the gum area above the sides of the bridge.

I didn’t know you were old enough to shave yet, Peter! That’s so cute.
